Corporate Development Analyst

Company Overview:

A leading company in the solar racking and tracker industry is seeking a Corporate Development Analyst to support strategic growth initiatives. The role involves working closely with senior leadership to evaluate acquisition targets and execute strategic transactions in renewable energy technology.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and investment cases for acquisitions and strategic investments
• Support all phases of the M&A lifecycle including target identification, financial analysis, due diligence, deal execution, and integration planning
• Prepare presentations and material for executive leadership, board meetings, lenders, and investors
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry benchmarking
• Evaluate partnerships, joint ventures, and strategic growth opportunities
• Assist with 45X Tax Credit Sales and special projects supporting the office of the CFO
• Lead or support high-priority cross-functional initiatives involving Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, and IT
• Improve financial reporting and decision-making processes through automation and analytics
• Assist with ERP implementations, business integrations, and process improvement initiatives
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory, Corporate Development, Private Equity, Strategic Finance, or Big Four Deal Advisory
• Advanced Excel modeling skills and PowerPoint presentation expertise
• Strong financial statement analysis
• Experience with financial modeling, valuation, DCF, comparable company analysis, transaction multiples, market research, and due diligence
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Capital IQ, PitchBook, FactSet, Bloomberg, Wood Mackenzie
  
  

Compensation: Pay Rate: $50 – $75/hr
