A leading global investment firm with over $600 billion in assets under management is seeking a Fund Accountant to join their team in Miami. The role involves overseeing financial operations and reporting for various investment vehicles.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the monthly and daily NAV and portfolio reconciliation process
- Prepare and review capital calls and distributions allocations
- Calculate management fee, distributions, waterfall allocations, and IRR
- Prepare and review expense allocations and payments
- Monitor expenses and prepare budgets
- Review financial statements and regulatory reporting
- Maintain information and reconcile loan investments and debt financings in Investran
- Prepare and review fund forecasts, performance estimates, attributions, and other ad-hoc projects
- Oversee calculations and manage wire payments for firm revenues
- Review fund legal documents and assist in building processes for new fund launches
- Liaise with Investment and Operation teams to enhance internal and investor reporting
- Assist in the review of investor statements, quarterly investment letters, and internal reporting
- Maintain accounting-related data in internal systems
- Coordinate with external auditors for the year-end audit process
- Oversee and review the work of the offshore team and various administrators
- Advanced Excel skills required
- 3-5 years of public accounting or private equity experience, preferably Big 4 and asset management
- CPA preferred
