A leading global investment firm with nearly $300 billion in assets under management is seeking a consultant to join its CLO operations team. The role focuses on waterfall reporting and reconciliation for CLO vehicles.
Job Responsibilities:
- Reconcile complex CLO waterfall models
- Review and validate historical and ongoing cash flow reporting
- Ensure accuracy across internal systems and reporting structures
- Partner with legal, operations, and finance teams on reconciliation workstreams
- Document assumptions and processes related to long-term CLO structures
- Assist with compliance testing, reconciliation, and portfolio reporting for US CLOs
- Monitor compliance with investment restrictions by performing post trade testing and hypothetical testing
- Interact with Portfolio Managers and Legal to resolve compliance-related issues
- Prepare compliance and risk reports
- Assist in ad hoc project work and participate in policy and procedure improvements
- 2 to 3 years of prior experience in CLO fund compliance reporting preferred
- Fundamental understanding of syndicated loan market
- Experience liaising with Collateral Administrators, Trustees, or Fund Administrators preferred
- Ability to read and interpret fund agreements such as Credit Agreement, Prospectus, Indenture, and Investment Management Agreement
- Strong background in Excel modeling and reconciliations
- Detail-oriented with a long-term project mindset
