Role Wash lab Technician Location Trumbull, CT (Onsite) Pay Range $20 /hr. - $ 24.00 /hr. On W2 (Without Benefit) Duration 12 Months (contract to hire) Job Description We are looking for an entry-level Wash lab Technician to support hands-on laundry product performance testing. The role involves following standard operating procedures, preparing fabrics and test materials, operating laboratory instrumentation and automation, recording test data, and maintaining a clean and safe laboratory environment. Required Skills & Experience Knowledge of good laboratory practices Mechanically inclined and comfortable with hands-on work Strong attention to detail Good written and verbal communication skills Basic computer skills Ability to follow SOPs and testing procedures Must be able to speak, read, and write English Laboratory or testing experience is preferred but not required Key Responsibilities Perform routine laundry product performance testing, including stain removal and softening tests Prepare and label fabrics, towels, stains, and other test materials Follow established washing, drying, staining, and test preparation procedures Operate laboratory instrumentation and automation Ensure stains are prepared and applied accurately Generate and compile testing data for scientists to analyze Maintain laboratory supplies and keep the wash lab clean and organized Work with test requesters to understand product testing requirements Maintain a clean and safe working environment Work effectively as part of a team
