Job Title: Telehealth Physician

Location: 100% Remote (Must Live in Mississippi)

Duration: 12 Months

Schedule: 2–5 hours per assigned NP per month for a total of up to 12 hours per month.

Pay range: $175.00/hr. on 1099

Job Description:

DIRECT PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITY – THE PHYSICIAN WILL BE DIRECTLY CONTRACTED WITH CLIENT AS A 1099.

Physician must be MISSISSIPPI board licensed in Family Medicine and must be enrolled with MS Medicaid.

State residency is required – MUST LIVE IN MISSISSIPPI.

Chart reviews will be completed via Telehealth.

Physician will be required to complete 2–5 hours per assigned NP per month for a total of up to 12 hours per month.

Care Connections Overview

Care Connections is a strategic partner to client Health Plans, committed to engaging and connecting with members to improve their health and quality of life by utilizing Nurse Practitioners in the right place, at the right time, via telehealth.

Position Requirements:

• Conduct a monthly Quality Chart review of a 10% representative sample or a minimum of two (2) chart reviews, whichever is greater.

• Comply with state requirements to meet with assigned NPs to review and discuss chart documentation and quality of care (can be done telephonically).

• Be available by phone or electronic means of communication during the NP’s working hours (40 hours per week).

• Serve as a supervising and collaborating physician in accordance with applicable law and the NP Collaborative Practice Protocol Agreement.

• Liability insurance will be provided for claims arising solely and exclusively from Physician’s delivery of professional services relating to supervision and collaboration with NPs.

• All supervising physician responsibilities can be completed telephonically.
