Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) – Outpatient Clinic

Pay: $30–$45/hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our pediatric outpatient clinic in Shelton, CT. In this role, you will provide individualized, evidence-based therapy to children with a variety of developmental, sensory, motor, and self-regulation needs while working closely with families and a multidisciplinary clinical team.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate pediatric patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide engaging occupational therapy sessions focused on developmental goals.
- Address fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, ADLs, self-help, and cognitive skills.
- Educate parents and caregivers on home programs and carryover strategies.
- Complete clinical documentation and billing accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with speech therapists, physical therapists, behavioral specialists, and other providers.
- Participate in team meetings and maintain a safe, child-centered therapy environment.
Qualifications:
- Current Connecticut Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
- NBCOT certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of pediatric occupational therapy experience.
- Pediatric outpatient or clinic experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Passion for working with children and families.
