Oncology Pharmacist

Position: Travel Pharmacist – Oncology

Location: North Carolina
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 5:00 PM – 5:30 AM | 7 On / 7 Off (Thursday – Wednesday)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Travel Oncology Pharmacist to join our hospital team in North Carolina. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Must-Have Qualifications:

(Candidates without these qualifications will not be considered.)

• Previous hospital pharmacy experience

• Proven experience overseeing the work of pharmacy technicians

Preferred / Nice to Have:

(Candidates with these skills will receive priority consideration.)

• Emergency Department experience

• Cerner and Vigilanz system experience

• 3rd shift experience

• ACLS certification or experience (required only if working in the ED)

Typical Responsibilities:

• Verify and review medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness

• Perform product checking and distribution of medications

• Respond to clinical inquiries from nurses and providers

• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety regulations

Required Certifications:
