Manufacturing Operator

Title: Manufacturing Operator/Operations TechnicianContract: 12 MonthsPay Rate: $22.00/hr on W2Location: 5485 County Road V, Sheboygan Falls, WI - 53085Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Position Summary:The Operations Technician supports the Sheboygan site by assisting the Maintenance Department with various maintenance-related activities. In this role, you will help keep the facility running smoothly while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a growing, high-demand industry.Responsibilities include observing maintenance tasks, conducting time studies, digitizing tasks, assisting with shop improvement projects, and performing in-field equipment tagging. Key Responsibilities:Support the Maintenance Department through observations, studies, and project work.Assist with task digitization and equipment tagging.Follow all safety rules and regulations; identify and report unsafe conditions.Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned to support department goals.Maintain excellent attendance and adhere to the assigned schedule.Use proper documentation practices.Communicate effectively with Supervisors and Technicians.Recommend process improvement opportunities.Meet deadlines and take responsibility for assigned tasks.Read, understand, and follow work instructions and procedures.Use PC software and applications (CMMS, web browsers, Word, Excel, email).Learn and update drawings/schematics as needed.Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment with guidance (e.g., grinder, drill press, sandblaster, band saw).Read gauges and understand units of measure.Use precision measuring tools.Demonstrate strong teamwork and interpersonal skills while completing maintenance tasks.Basic Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent18 years of age or olderMechanical aptitudeAbility to collaborate with Maintenance personnelNo previous maintenance experience requiredPreferred Qualifications:Prior work experience, vocational/shop training, or relevant high school coursework
