What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grant Program Manager position at LanceSoft, Inc.?
The Grant Program Manager will oversee mitigation projects funded through various State and Federal Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) programs, including but not limited to:
- Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC)
- Pre-Disaster Mitigation (PDM)
- Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA)
- Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP)
- Hazard Mitigation Grant Program – Post Fire
- STORM Act programs
- Legislative Pre-Disaster Mitigation (L-PDM)
- State-sponsored hazard mitigation initiatives
This role will also lead a small team of Emergency Management staff and work closely with applicants to develop Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) projects during federally declared disasters, including Fire Management Assistance Grants (FMAG).
The position requires the ability to respond at any time (24/7) to the State or Alternate Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) or Joint Field Office (JFO) during disasters or exercises. The candidate will train for and perform assigned SEOC roles in accordance with organizational policies.
Required Skills
- 5 years of experience in a financial field (billing, financial auditing, expenses, invoicing)
- 2 years of experience as a Program Manager
- 2 years of experience working with grants

- Experience conducting compliance checks
- Strong professional communication skills
