Machine Operator - Finishing

Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Finishing Department Operator to join our team in Brewster, New York. In this role you will be responsible for cleaning, grinding, and finishing investment castings to meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Remove ceramic shell material from castings
• Grind, polish, and perform other finishing operations
• Inspect finished castings for quality and dimensional accuracy
• Maintain equipment and keep work areas clean and organized
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications

• Experience using hand tools and finishing equipment is preferred but not required, we will provide onsite training.
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to complete required work center and safety training

Working Conditions

• Industrial/manufacturing environment
• Regular exposure to noise, heat, dust, and welding fumes
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing protection, gloves, safety glasses, and other required protective gear.

Job Type: Full-time
