Blackstone Industries is seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Machine Operator / Troubleshooter to join our manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, solving mechanical issues, and working in a fast-paced production environment.
Position Responsibilities
- Operate and troubleshoot zinc injection molding machines.
- Operate various punch presses safely and efficiently.
- Perform basic machine setups and make minor adjustments as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints and production drawings.
- Use precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and rulers.
- Complete production work orders using basic computer skills.
- Assist in other production areas as needed and perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- English speaking is required. Bilingual candidates are also encouraged to apply.
