What are the responsibilities and job description for the Music and Choral Teacher - Lamoille Union Middle/High School position at Lamoille North Supervisory Union?
We are seeking a Music and Choral Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will:
-Instruct sections of our music curriculum
-Instruct students on vocal techniques, music theory, sight-reading, and other musical concepts
-Conduct regular rehearsals, focusing on vocal quality, blend, and ensemble skills
-Prepare students for concerts, competitions, and other public performances
-Select and arrange musical repertoire appropriate for the students' skill levels and program goals
-Organize and manage all aspects of the choral program, including scheduling, budget, and communication with parents and students
-Evaluate student progress and provide feedback
A disposition for project-based learning, restorative practices, UbD/UDL planning, and proficiency-based learning practices preferred.
