As a District Technology Specialist I, you’re the frontline of support: logging requests, resolving basic hardware/software issues, and escalating more complex tickets. You’ll ensure fast, friendly service and accurate documentation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

● Receive and log tickets via phone, email, or portal.
● Resolve routine issues: password resets, account unlocks, basic OS/application
troubleshooting.
● Identify tickets needing advanced support; escalate to Tier II or other teams.
● Keep detailed ticket notes on actions taken and communications.
● Assist with inventory audits, asset tagging, and equipment check-in/check-out.
● Image and configure devices for deployment
● Provide courteous, patient assistance; guide users through self-help steps.
● Keep requestors informed with regular status updates.

Supervision Received:
The District Technology Specialist I reports directly to the Director of Technology and receives guidance and evaluation from them; in addition to direction from the IT Administrative Assistant and IT Project Manager as directed by the Director of Technology.
