Washington Central Unified Union School District is looking for a long-term substitute to serve as a Library Media Specialist/Technology Integrationist at Doty Memorial, Calais Elementary and East Montpelier Elementary Schools. This is a 1.00 FTE position split between three schools with an anticipated start date in January 2027 until April 2027 covering a leave of absence. WCUUSD seeks a dedicated, collaborative, and student-centered Library Media Specialist/Technology Integrationist. A qualified applicant will demonstrate past success in creating a supportive and challenging environment for a wide range of learners through differentiated instruction, effective classroom management practices, creative problem solving, and partnerships with colleagues and families.
The Library Media Specialist/Technology Integrationist is responsible for providing access to media and technology for students and staff that can support and encourage the learning process. Knowledge of PreK-6 content area standards and active collaboration with students and staff is essential to successful and authentic integration of technology and information literacy skills. The Library Media Specialist/Technology Integrationist is also responsible for maintaining and developing a rich collection of materials and tools for the entire learning community.
