English Language Arts Teacher - Lamoille Union Middle School

Lamoille Union Middle School is pleased to announce an opportunity to join our team as a teacher of grade 7-8 english language arts for the 2026-2027 school year. We are looking for a dynamic, student-centered english language arts teacher who is committed to high academic standards within a middle school model and has a genuine love for working with young people. We are looking for candidates who believe in building strong relationships with students. LUMS uses a teaming model, and each team works with a group of 60-70 students for both years of middle school. In addition to their own team, the individual will work closely within a collaborative team of middle school english language arts teachers, coaches, and interventionists. Experience with evidence-based english strategies, workshop models, formative assessments, and positive behavior interventions are a priority. A grades 5-9 or 7-12 english language arts endorsement is required.
