Lamoille North Supervisory Union is seeking a Principal with dynamic leadership skills and a track record of excellence in creating and leading an exemplary educational environment focused on equity, access, inclusion and diversity. The Principal will lead all aspects of the school including instruction, administration, and operations, supervision and evaluation of faculty and staff, business operations, and communication with all members of the school community.
The successful candidate will have strong values and integrity, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written, school finance experience, strong collaborative leadership skills, and a deep understanding of grades 7-8 learning. The individual must work effectively with school boards, administration, teachers, support staff, students, families, and the community at large.
Lamoille Union Middle School has roughly 48 staff who serve approximately 234 grades 7-8 students in a beautiful, well-equipped facility.
Candidate must have a minimum of three to five years of relevant experience in school administration, with prior experience as a middle school principal desirable; a Master’s degree in a relevant field and Vermont Middle School Principal License required.
