Lamers Bus Lines is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented General Laborer / Maintenance Technician to support our school bus and motorcoach fleet. This is a part-time, entry-level role ideal for someone interested in vehicle maintenance, diesel mechanics, or hands-on mechanical work. Hours are Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. with additional hours available for driving charter trips as needed.

What You’ll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes and tire rotations
- Assist with basic diesel and fleet maintenance tasks
- Complete general building and facility upkeep
- Handle grounds maintenance, including lawn care and snow removal
- Clean and maintain bus and motorcoach interiors and exteriors
- Train to obtain a CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with passenger, school bus, and air brake endorsements (company training provided)
- Provide driving support as needed
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Interest in mechanical work, maintenance, or diesel technology
- Willingness to perform physical tasks in a variety of weather conditions
