Duties
- Operate tube bending machinery and assist with setup, calibration, and maintenance to ensure accurate bends according to specifications
- Use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring instruments for quality inspection and measurement verification
- Read drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble metal components and tubing assemblies
- Utilize forklifts and hoists safely for material handling and movement of heavy metal parts within the workspace
- Assist with , fabrication, tooling setup, and general labor tasks such as assisting loading trucks with fork lifts to support production workflows .
- Conduct routine inspections of finished parts for quality assurance and document findings for process improvement
Requirements
- Competence in using hand tools, tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring devices for quality control. Must be dependable, a team player and work well with others
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and process adjustments
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards and quality inspection procedures
- Willingness to perform physical labor including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods
