Requirements
· 5–10 years of accounting or controller experience, preferably within private equity, funds, or family office environments
· Prior experience at a Big 4 or public accounting firm preferred
· Proficiency in Great Plains and Excel
· Strong understanding of general ledger, financial statements, and tax/book management
· High attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive financial information
· Comfortable working on an hourly basis with frequent communication and approvals
· Ability to work independently and stay on top of monthly financial cycles
Responsibilities
· Maintain and manage the general ledger and financial records
· Oversee monthly accounting cycle, including bank reconciliations and financial reporting
· Prepare and pull financial statements on a regular basis
· Handle bill-pay and expense tracking
· Support tax/book management in coordination with external accountants
· Review monthly bank statements and ensure accuracy across accounts
· Provide ongoing financial visibility and reporting to principals
· Assist with light administrative and operational tasks as needed
