Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional On-Call Banquet Servers to join our hospitality team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for service and flexibility in their schedule. Banquet Servers play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences during weddings, corporate events, galas, and other special occasions. Servers earn $13.73 an hour, plus tips.
Responsibilities:
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications (tables, linens, silverware, glassware, etc.)
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive food and beverage service throughout the event
- Serve plated meals, buffet-style offerings, and beverages in a timely and courteous manner
- Clear tables, reset for next courses, and maintain cleanliness throughout service
- Collaborate with kitchen and event staff to ensure smooth execution
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies during food handling and service
- Assist with event breakdown and cleanup
Requirements:
- Previous serving experience required (restaurant, catering, or hospitality setting)
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Availability for on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Banquet service experience (formal events, large-scale functions)
- Familiarity with banquet-style setups and service etiquette
- Experience with POS systems or event tracking tools
