Lakemary is looking for a Facilities Support Lead for our Facilities Department.
At Lakemary, the Facilities Support Lead is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and equipment of buildings and facilities. The role will perform analyses of operational processes, resource allocation, energy use, and safety processes, and recommend and implement improvements. We are looking for a Facilities Support Lead to be responsible for the maintenance and improvement of our facilities in the Olathe and Paola locations. You will be responsible for assessing the facilities resource requirements, optimizing the facilities layout and critical operational systems, and overseeing the maintenance of infrastructure, grounds, and equipment.
Facilities & Maintenance Responsibilities:
- Gathering and analyzing data, drawings, permits, and reports.
- Determining facility and equipment specifications.
- Analyzing project costs and preparing budgets and schedules.
- Designing and overseeing the implementation of facility expansion, layout, various systems, and quality controls.
- Evaluating operational systems and facility infrastructure to ascertain and improve operational efficiencies.
- Developing processing plans and optimizing resource allocation.
- Planning and coordinating infrastructure and equipment maintenance schedules and activities.
- Coordinating and overseeing contractors performing maintenance activities.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards.
- Preparing reports and compliance documentation.
Facility Support Lead Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have and maintain a good driving record.
- Five years of maintenance experience and knowledge in the following trades:
- Electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Knowledge of commercial equipment.
- Proven ability to read schematics and surveys.
- Two years of supervisory experience.
Other Job Details:
- Day hours 7:30am to 4pm Monday through Friday
- Rotating schedule for on-call for evening and weekend maintenance emergencies
