Janitor/Cleaner

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
• Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure a pristine appearance
• Handle industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of equipment and large-scale sanitation projects
• Conduct custodial duties including trash removal, restocking supplies, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces regularly
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Support porter responsibilities by moving furniture or equipment as needed to facilitate cleaning or maintenance activities

Experience

• Experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and safety procedures is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow cleaning schedules and safety guidelines
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
