Job Description
The King’s Castle Theatre is seeking a dependable Part-Time Janitor/Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. This role is essential to ensuring the theatre remains presentable before, during, and after performances.
Responsibilities
- Clean theatre seating areas, lobbies, hallways, and restrooms
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and empty trash bins
- Restock restroom supplies (paper towels, soap, toilet paper)
- Clean glass, doors, and public surfaces
- Assist with cleaning after shows and special events
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management
- Help maintain overall cleanliness of backstage and public areas
Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Ability to lift up to 25–40 lbs
- Comfortable standing, bending, and walking for extended periods
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred but not required
Schedule
- Evening and night shifts
- Weekend availability required
