Summer School 2026 - INFORMATION

Hourly Rates:
Teachers - $43.46 per hour
Teaching Assistants - $28.65 per hour
Summer School Preparation - $30.75 per hour
Summer School Clean Up - $30.75 per hour
Summer School Training/Workshops (as needed) - $22.96 if training is after June 30th
*Attendance:
Absences are for emergencies only. An absence without prior approval causes disruption to the entire program. The expectation is that employees will be present for all days. Lapses in attendance will be considered when hiring for future Summer School employment opportunities.
All positions are contingent upon enrollment, maintenance of enrollment and student attendance. Employees will not be paid when students are absent. If attendance rate drops during Summer School, staff requirements and needs will be adjusted accordingly.

High School General Education Summer School Program (2 of 2)
Summer School - Instructional Staff (Regents Review)
POSTING
Dates/Times:
- Monday through Friday August 10- August 14, 2026
- Student sessions will be 7:30-9:30am (Session 1) and 9:40-11:40am (Session 2)
- Teachers will work 7:15-11:45am to provide Regents Review Classes
- Proctors will work August 18-19, 2026 in accordance with the NYSED Regents Exam Schedule to provide accommodations.
- Scorers will work in collaboration with the Summer School Supervisor to set up scoring windows from scoring teams. In the absence of secured scorers by June 30, 2026, the district will contact a vendor for external scoring.
- Seniority will be used when multiple staff members apply for the same position.
- If there is a lack of instructional staff, Lake Shore will not offer regents review and exams.
- Teachers will assist in morning breakfast supervision and be assigned accordingly by the supervisor.
