About the Role

You will manage the flow of cash, chips, and related instruments through the cage, balancing the need for tight controls with warm, guest-focused service. Working closely with cashiers, floor staff, and management, you will set the tone for a dependable and welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise cage cashiers during assigned shifts, providing coaching, feedback, and support to help the team succeed.
• Oversee cash handling and chip transactions in accordance with established procedures.
• Reconcile cage inventory, verify counts, and ensure accurate balancing at the start and end of each shift.
• Maintain compliance with gaming regulations, internal controls, and reporting requirements, including currency transaction documentation.
• Resolve guest and staff questions promptly, turning routine interactions into positive experiences.
• Monitor the security of funds and documents, reporting discrepancies and addressing issues as they arise.
• Schedule and delegate duties to keep the cage staffed appropriately during peak and quiet periods.
• Collaborate with other departments to support seamless casino and racetrack operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a casino cage, banking, high-volume cash handling, or a related environment.
• Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy in every transaction.
• Familiarity with gaming compliance and reporting standards, or the willingness to learn them quickly.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any required state gaming license.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, guest-facing setting.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
