Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of all areas.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures following established health and safety standards to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and other janitorial tools efficiently.
- Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing as needed.
- Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting and outdoor work to access hard-to-reach areas or outdoor spaces.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning requirements and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning detergents, supplies, and equipment; ensure proper storage and usage.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or janitorial cleaning with knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care, and sanitation procedures.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, equipment operation, and safety protocols related to custodial work.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work activities.
- Strong time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs.
- Experience in housekeeping management or residential housekeeping is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of carpet cleaning techniques and outdoor work experience is a plus.
