Description of Work:
FAA Real Estate & Asset Management Enterprise System (FRAMES)
- Operations - Performs daily asset uploads, updates, corrections, and reconciliations in FRAMES. Validate data accuracy for asset attributes including custodian assignment, location, serial numbers, acquisition value, asset status, and disposition. Execute bulk uploads, data clean-up activities, and system corrections as required. Maintain audit trail documentation for all transactions. Support system troubleshooting and data validation activities.
- Inventory Management - Conducts wall-to-wall and spot physical inventories throughout the facilities. Utilize barcode scanning equipment and electronic upload tools. Reconcile physical inventory results with FRAMES system records. Coordinate discrepancy resolution with property custodians and the COR. Prepare daily and weekly validation reports.
- Excess Property - Identify, validate, tag, and process excess equipment in accordance with Federal and agency policy. Coordinate staging, scheduling, and disposition activities with warehouse staff. Update FRAMES disposition records timely and accurately. Support reutilization and disposal workflows.
- Reporting & Analytics and Customer Support- Produce inventory accuracy reports, reconciliation reports, aging reports, audit support documentation, and ad-hoc data requests. Support internal controls testing and audit inquiries. Respond to asset inquiries and service requests via email and telephone. Coordinate activities with warehouse and logistics personnel.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
This position requires the occupant to have excellent organizational, time management and communication skills with all levels of warehouse workers, receiving and distribution teams. Basic understanding of inventory control procedures. Proficient keyboarding skills. Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision. Ability to perform basic math calculations. Occupant must be skilled at communicating effectively with personnel at all levels, both orally and in writing. Working knowledge of database and spreadsheet software.
Education:
A high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) from an accredited program. Experience with computerized inventory systems required.
Work Experience:
Three (3) years or more of demonstrated experience in federal property management, inventory control, asset accountability, or enterprise asset management operations. Relevant professional certifications, military logistics experience, or demonstrated enterprise asset management system experience may be considered in lieu of a portion of the required experience. Demonstrated experience using enterprise asset management systems (FRAMES or equivalent). Knowledge of FMR, FAR Part 45, and GSA property guidance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical inventory activities. Valid driver’s license. Must be able to successfully pass a background check as required prior to system access.
