Member Service Attendant at Camp Lahontan
Organization Overview:
Lahontan is a private golf community located in Truckee, California. Camp Lahontan is a five-acre recreation area
within Lahontan Golf Club. The facility includes 3 pools, a spa, 3 tennis courts, volleyball and basketball courts, 2
pickleball courts, 2 bocce courts, a playground, a fire pit, and an amphitheater. The Camp Pavilion includes men’s
and women’s locker rooms, a family restroom, Camp Great Room with fireplace and entertainment center, Snack
Shack, and Camp Director’s office. Camp Lahontan is open to members, their families, and guests. Within the
Camp, the Director and staff will create programming for children, families, and adults.
Job Description:
Lahontan Golf Club is seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented Pool, Member & Camp Store Attendant
to support daily operations at our pool and camp store. This role focuses on welcoming members, checking them
into the pool, keeping facilities well-stocked and organized, and helping members and families find what they need
for an enjoyable day at the club.
This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys working with people, staying active, and being part of a positive,
team-focused environment.
Job Type: Part-Time/Full-Time
Pay: $20.00 an hour

Key Responsibilities:
• Greet members and guests warmly and check them into the pool area
• Maintain accurate attendance and follow all club access procedures
• Keep pool towels stocked, organized, and ready for member use
• Ensure restrooms and changing areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Assist members with questions, directions, and general pool or club information
• Introduce members to the camp store and explain available items for purchase
• Help keep the camp store organized, clean, and well presented
• Restock merchandise and supplies as needed
• Communicate member needs, concerns, or facility issues to supervisors
• Support lifeguards and aquatics staff as needed
• Uphold club policies, service standards, and professional appearance at all times

Qualifications:
• Friendly, positive attitude with strong customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
• Comfortable interacting with adults, children, and families
• Ability to follow procedures and work independently when needed
• Previous customer service or retail experience is a plus, but not required
• Willingness to learn club systems and offerings
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry towels or supplies (up to 25 lbs)
• Ability to work outdoors and indoors in warm weather conditions

Availability:
• Candidates must have flexible availability between 20 - 25 hours per week, beginning in Mid- June
