The Housing Resource Specialist is responsible for providing guidance and support to individuals with disabilities to obtain and maintain their participation with the Housing Choice Voucher to ensure safe and affordable housing.

About The Role
The Housing Resource Specialist is responsible for providing guidance and support to individuals with disabilities to obtain and maintain their participation with the Housing Choice Voucher to ensure safe and affordable housing.
Essential Functions Of The Role
- Coordinate with the completion of the housing subsidy voucher application process
- Building relationships between individuals, local housing services, support service organizations, landlords, neighbors, and members of the community.
- Provide the necessary guidance and support to individuals in going to appointments related to obtaining, using, and maintaining the housing subsidy, including identifying housing.
- Commit to being part of a team that creates and sustains a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace culture.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Drivers License, Insurance and Reliable Transportation
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- At least 1-2 years of customer service experience required
- Basic Computer Skills
