What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric Technician position at Ladd Eye Center?
Ladd Eye Center is a fast-paced, growing Optometry practice that is seeking a full-time Optometric Technician that will assist the providers with patient care. They will create an atmosphere that reflects the level of standards and care that our patients expect to receive for this practice. The ideal candidate will exhibit a professional appearance and demeanor and be a flexible and highly organized team player. Outstanding phone etiquette and computer skills along with consistently demonstrating a compassionate positive personality with patients, physicians and staff is required. As assigned but not limited to the following: *Prepare all exam and pre-testing rooms for patients *Enter all patient information in EHR *Update all patient records *Perform all additional testing *Apply drops to dilate patients eyes *Educate patients by providing information regarding treatment or testing *Order and dispense Contact Lens *Verify glasses *Assist patients in selecting frames *Recommend specific lenses and lens coating *Answer phone and schedule appointments as needed *Keep all exam rooms supplied with drops and other materials

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
