Ladd Eye Center is a fast-paced, growing Optometry practice that is seeking a full-time Dispensing Optician that will assist the providers with patient care. They will create an atmosphere that reflects the level of standards and care that our patients expect to receive for this practice. The ideal candidate will exhibit a professional appearance and demeanor and be a flexible and highly organized team player. Outstanding phone etiquette and computer skills along with consistently demonstrating a compassionate positive personality with patients, physicians and staff is required.
As assigned but not limited to the following: Help patients with frame and lens selection.
Dispense glasses.
Perform adjustments and repairs.
Order glasses and frames.
Read glasses on lensometer.
Enter patients charges.
Be knowledgeable in the different types of lens and materials.
Answer phones as needed.
Order contact lens and do contact lens fittings.
Be able to make recommendations to patients on frames dependent on their prescriptions.
Too many duties to list.
Work well with others.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
