About the Role
Ladco is looking for a Senior Project Accountant to join our team and help strengthen our accounting operations across multiple business channels.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys improving processes, and wants to contribute to the success of a long-established — yet growing — luxury brand.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and execute month-end and year-end close — journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial statements.
- Manage progress billings for each active RDG project through project completion.
- Maintain accurate general ledger across multiple entities and revenue streams.
- Manage inventory accounting and partner with operations to ensure accurate costing and valuation.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for management and leadership teams.
- Support cash management, daily reporting, and bank reconciliations.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and partners.
- Oversee sales tax compliance.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation in accounting systems.
- Provide mentorship and review work of other accounting staff.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
- 5–8 years of progressive project accounting experience — ideally in construction, distribution, retail, or design/manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting/ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- A proactive, collaborative mindset — comfortable working cross-functionally with operations, sales, and leadership.
Bonus Points
- Experience in inventory-heavy or luxury goods environments.
- Knowledge of project accounting.
- Background in process automation or systems implementation.
