IT Infrastructure Project Manager
Overview
LABUR is partnering with a client to identify an IT Infrastructure Project Manager for a contract engagement within a highly complex, fast-paced enterprise environment. This role sits at the center of a large-scale infrastructure transformation that includes an M365 migration, infrastructure upgrades across 27 acquired sites, user relocations spanning 55 additional locations, and the integration of two new divisions operating under distinct models. Additional initiatives involve enhancing core services infrastructure, centralizing end-user support functions — including onboarding and legal — into ServiceNow, and evaluating embedded processes for potential absorption or redesign. With approximately 30 concurrent projects underway, the IT Infrastructure Project Manager will leverage PMO methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, to drive successful outcomes across cross-functional teams, third-party vendors, and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle — planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring, and closure — ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and aligned with scope expectations
- Assemble and lead cross-functional project teams spanning infrastructure, IT operations, business systems, networking, security, informatics, and third-party vendors
- Establish and maintain communication plans, facilitate project meetings, and ensure transparency on status, deliverables, timelines, and risks across all stakeholders
- Monitor and manage project financials, tracking budget-to-actual performance and proactively flagging variances
- Drive risk and issue management through identification, escalation, resolution, and decision-making facilitation, offering alternative recommendations where needed
- Maintain all PMO artifacts and thoroughly document meetings, action items, delivery commitments, and open items requiring follow-up
- Prepare and present periodic project status reports to senior and executive leadership, surfacing issues that may impact project success
- Minimum 5 years of IT project management experience spanning infrastructure, system operations, and business systems projects
- Hands-on experience applying Waterfall and Agile methodologies in an IT environment
- Proficiency in project management tools including Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, and Confluence; familiarity with ServiceNow a plus
- Strong track record managing multi-vendor relationships and third-party engagements
- Experience with on-premise, cloud, and SaaS environments; M365 migration experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with comfort presenting to executive leadership and high-profile stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience; M&A experience a plus
