Overview

LABUR is partnering with our client to address a critical challenge: ensuring seamless alignment between evolving business priorities and technology delivery across key products. This strategic engagement calls for a Product Manager who can capture the voice of the customer, translate complex business objectives into actionable technical specifications, and drive product strategy that delivers measurable impact. Success in this role means fostering collaboration across business units, IT teams, and stakeholders to achieve clarity, alignment, and execution excellence.

Responsibilities

• Customer Advocacy: Act as the voice of the customer, gathering insights and feedback to inform product decisions.
• Requirements Management: Capture, document, and prioritize business requirements; ensure accurate translation into technical specifications.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with IT, business process owners, and development teams to bridge gaps and maintain clarity.
• Product Strategy: Define and communicate product vision, roadmap, and success metrics aligned with organizational goals.
• Agile Leadership: Participate in Agile ceremonies, ensuring requirements are well understood and deliverables meet business needs.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage data to validate requirements, identify trends, and support strategic initiatives.
• Claims Expertise (Preferred): Apply knowledge of insurance claims processes and technology to optimize product solutions.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven Product Management Experience: Minimum 5-8 years in a product management role with a strong business focus.
• Insurance Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of insurance operations; claims experience is highly preferred.
• Technical & Business Bridging: Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical deliverables.
• Data Competency: Familiarity with data analysis and interpretation to support decision-making.
• Agile Methodology: Solid understanding of Agile development practices and frameworks.
• Excellent Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders and drive consensus.
• Experience with both claims technology and business process preferred.
• Background in data analytics or data-driven product development preferred.
  
  

Compensation

$80 - $90 per hour - Dependent on fit and experience.
