Overview
LABUR is partnering with a client to identify a Security Engineer who will play a critical role in strengthening identity security and protecting privileged access across the enterprise. This role focuses on the engineering, administration, and day-to-day operations of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) platforms, with primary ownership of Duo for MFA and Delinea Secret Server for PAM. The Security Engineer works closely with internal IT, infrastructure, and security teams, as well as external SOC partners, to improve identity assurance, reduce privileged access risk, and ensure resilient access during both routine operations and emergency scenarios.

Responsibilities
- Engineer, administer, and support enterprise MFA and PAM platforms, with a primary focus on Duo and Delinea Secret Server.
- Design, implement, and maintain secure authentication and privileged access workflows aligned with security best practices.
- Manage privileged credential vaulting, rotation, and lifecycle processes to reduce exposure and misuse.
- Integrate MFA and PAM solutions with applications, servers, databases, network devices, and cloud platforms.
- Partner with IT, infrastructure, and security teams to onboard systems and users into MFA and PAM platforms.
- Monitor platform health, availability, and performance; apply patches, upgrades, and configuration changes as needed.
- Respond to incidents and access-related outages, including participation in on-call or after-hours support as required.
- Support emergency access and break-glass scenarios to ensure business continuity during critical events.
- Collaborate with external SOC partners to investigate alerts, troubleshoot issues, and remediate identity-related threats.
- Maintain clear documentation for configurations, integrations, procedures, and incident response activities.
- Hands-on experience supporting MFA and PAM solutions in an enterprise environment.
- Strong experience with Duo for MFA and Delinea Secret Server for Privileged Access Management.
- Solid understanding of identity and access management (IAM) principles and privileged credential security.
- Experience integrating security platforms with on-premises, cloud, and SaaS systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex authentication and access issues across diverse environments.
- Comfort working cross-functionally with IT, infrastructure, security teams, and external partners.
- Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
