The candidate will work in a shared support model alongside both IT and business users, with structured onboarding to build expertise across the application ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 application support across a diverse application portfolio, with a primary focus on LIMS.
- Perform daily support activities including user account setup, access provisioning, workflow troubleshooting, and configuration analysis.
- Triage, resolve, and escalate incidents while maintaining ownership of tickets through closure.
- Participate actively as a member of a centralized ticket support team.
- Monitor, prioritize, and update tickets, ensuring clear documentation of actions and outcomes.
- Identify recurring issues and contribute to knowledge base articles, SOPs, and process improvements.
- Engage in structured cross-training to build competency across multiple lab and manufacturing systems.
- Support operational resiliency by serving as backup coverage for various applications.
- Assist in developing and maintaining runbooks and application support documentation.
- Experience providing Level 1/Level 2 application support within an enterprise environment.
- Familiarity with laboratory, manufacturing, or regulated systems.
- Background supporting users in a ticket-based support model.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills across multiple application types.
- Ability to balance and support several systems concurrently.
- Clear and effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
