Job Summary:
The commercialization coordinator is the main liaison between product development and operations. Requires strong communication skills to interface between all departments to coordinate new product launches and roll outs ensuring the success of the project.
Provides documentation to customer related to product commercialization.
Responsibilities/ Duties:
Provide approved product specifications to customers when requested.
Provide weekly updates on all projects.
Assist in developing SOP’s related to commercialization and business development.
Supervise new product roll-out including production test runs of new items.
Develop a schedule for new product roll outs and launches with all departments.
Position is expected to promote food safety and quality culture and being engaged in its performance.
Position is expected to participate, when required, in CAPA activities related to audit findings (internal and external), customer complaints, verification and validation activities and process deviations.
Imparts training on new products to production teams using product specifications and gold standards.
Maintain commercialization calendar.
Oversee product cuttings/evaluations during launch/pilots with customers.
Customer facing/review of product and plant capabilities.
Provide customer with commercialization documentation.
Complete Customer Specification Section of the internal technical specification document.
Confirm production capabilities, equipment requirements, and process documentation are in place prior to launch.
Fill out customer product forms
Identify potential cost or operational risks that may impact profitability.
Requirements:

B.S in Food Science, Food Microbiology or Food Chemistry.
•
B.S related to food manufacturing, accounting, business administration, management, or culinary arts.
•
1-2 years’ experience in production environment.
•
Skilled in Microsoft Programs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
•
Great communication, writing and analytical skills.
•
Detail oriented with high organization skills.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
