Data Center Field TechniciansThis role supports a new data center service, delivering critical solutions such as high-security transport, white-glove delivery, and technical support. Our clients include hyperscale data center operators, high-tech freight forwarders, co-location providers, and Software as a Service (SaaS) companies.YOUR TASKS:Data Center Field Technician for a hands-on technical role. This is a true technician position focused on installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and configuring equipment in the field. Candidates should be comfortable working with wiring, components, and systems to ensure everything is communicating and operating properly.ResponsibilitiesInstall and set up equipment and system componentsEnsure wiring and connections are correct and communicating properlyTroubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and system issuesRepair or replace faulty parts and componentsConfigure systems and verify proper operationTest equipment after installation or repairDocument work performed and report issues as neededQualificationsHands-on technician, maintenance, or field service experienceAbility to troubleshoot and fix equipment issuesExperience using hand tools and basic diagnostic toolsAbility to follow diagrams, instructions, and work ordersStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsYOUR PROFILE:Ability to lift to 60-80 pounds is required, with occasional exertion up to 110 pounds (using safe lifting methods).Ability to assist in the transport of server racks (1,600- 1,700 lbs) on wheels using a rack tug.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with high levels of attention to detail.Valid class driver's license with a good driving record.Ability to travel for business needs.Basic experience with hand and power tools.Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and email.Prior experience with the installation of structured cabling, including fiber and copper is preferred.WE OFFERHourly Rate: $30 per hour.Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Disability Pay.401(k) with company matching up to 6%.Paid Time Off, including paid holidays.Flexible Spending Accounts.Voluntary benefits such as legal and financial assistance, pet insurance, and more.Employee Assistance Program.Ongoing employee development opportunities including tuition reimbursement, scholarships, and training.Commuter benefits.Employee engagement activities.Labor Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
