Production Team Leader

Job Overview

Shift: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Pay: $21 to $23 Depending on Experience.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee daily operations in our distribution center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, materials handling, and team leadership. This role is crucial for ensuring that all warehouse activities are conducted efficiently and safely, while maintaining high standards of productivity and quality.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
• Oversee shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely to move products within the warehouse.
• Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
• Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
• Manage inventory levels, including conducting regular stock counts and coordinating with supply chain teams.
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving warehouse efficiency and productivity.
• Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role within a distribution center or 3PL environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to warehouse operations and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required by the job.
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse workforce.
• Familiarity with materials handling processes and best practices in shipping and receiving.
• Forklift certification preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
