Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and facility systems
• Troubleshoot and repair production machinery and equipment
• Respond to maintenance work orders and complete repairs in a timely manner
• Maintain and repair equipment such as:
• Heat presses
• Conveyor systems
• Shipping and production lines
• Lifts and hoists
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Follow maintenance procedures and safety protocols
• Maintain maintenance tools, parts inventory, and supplies
• Communicate equipment issues and repair updates to supervisors
• Help maintain a safe and clean work environment

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance technician experience in manufacturing or production environments preferred
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Basic understanding of electrical schematics
• Experience with equipment such as:
• Conveyors
• Hydraulics
• Air compressors
• Industrial machinery
• Ability to multitask and prioritize repairs in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
