Position Overview
The Machine Service Technician is responsible for installing new oil filtration machines, training customers in operation and maintenance, and servicing existing machines in the field. This role involves some travel and requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission new filtration machines at customer sites.
- Train customers on operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Perform service and maintenance on existing machines in the field.
- Diagnose technical issues, recommend solutions, and prepare replacement part quotes.
- Provide exceptional customer support through timely service and communication.
Qualifications
- Technical background in mechanical or electrical systems; familiarity with industrial equipment.
- Knowledge of or aptitude for PLC programming (Siemens, Schneider, Mitsubishi, or Allen Bradley).
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel for installation and service assignments.
- The company will provide short external PLC training if needed.
