Industrial Maintenance Technician (Mechanical / Electrical / PLC)

2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday | 2:30 PM – 12:30 AM

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production operations through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and PLC-controlled equipment.
This is a critical role responsible for maintaining equipment uptime, improving production efficiency, and ensuring safe, reliable operation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems to minimize downtime
- Assist with installation and startup of new machinery and equipment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems
- Support PLC programming adjustments and system configuration (based on experience)
- Inspect, test, and repair electrical components and systems
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and documentation
- Participate in safety audits and ensure OSHA compliance
- Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment performance
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years of industrial maintenance experience (mechanical, electrical, or PLC)
- Ability to read schematics and technical documents
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Must provide own basic hand tools
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred:
- Experience in manufacturing or corrugated packaging environments
- Hands-on experience with PLC systems in production settings
Work Environment
- Industrial manufacturing facility
- Hands-on role involving mechanical and electrical systems
- Requires standing, walking, climbing, and physical repairs
- Safety-sensitive environment with strict OSHA compliance
