Cycle Counter

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cycle Counter to support inventory accuracy within a warehouse environment. This role works closely with operations leadership to maintain accurate inventory records, investigate discrepancies, and ensure products are properly tracked within the system.

The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and experience working in warehouse or inventory environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts as assigned
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and determine root causes
• Verify inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accurate inventory records
• Process returned shipments and determined product condition (first quality or damaged)
• Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records
• Assist with physical inventory counts and sampling processes
• Locate products within inventory systems and adjust records when needed
• Identify and resolve inventory issues before adjustments are required
• Pull slow-moving or obsolete inventory as directed
• Follow warehouse safety standards and good manufacturing practices
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
• Support general warehouse operations and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1 year of inventory control, warehouse, or related experience preferred
• Associate degree or technical training is a plus
• Familiarity with warehouse or inventory management systems
• Basic Excel and computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to read and interpret procedures and safety guidelines
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Ability to lift or move materials as needed
