Labette Health is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Clinic Receptionist to join our team and serve as the first point of contact for our patients. As a key member of our clinic staff, you will help create a welcoming environment and ensure smooth front-desk operations that support exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional, courteous manner
- Schedule patient appointments and manage provider calendars
- Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries or direct them appropriately
- Verify patient information and collect necessary documentation
- Assist with insurance verification and patient registration
- Process co-pays and other front-desk financial transactions
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of patient records Support clinical staff with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with EMR systems preferred
