We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Service Manager to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced dining environment. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Control inventory levels, monitor stock supplies, and coordinate with vendors for timely replenishment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and health codes.
- Supervise shift management, coordinate staff schedules, and ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Assist in budgeting, cost control, and overall food management to maximize profitability.
- Conduct staff training sessions on food production, customer service skills, and operational procedures.
- Support event catering, banquet services, or bar operations as needed within the restaurant setting.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service management within quick service & fast food or casual dining environments; fine dining or hotel experience is a plus.
- Strong background in food preparation, kitchen management, and culinary operations.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience required.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in hospitality or restaurant settings.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage staff training & development effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control, budgeting, and food industry best practices.
- Ability to manage shift schedules efficiently while maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Previous experience in managing a bar or catering services is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and lead team meetings confidently.
