About the Position
La Vigneta Winery & Restaurant is seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven Part-Time Front of House Manager to lead evening service operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience.
Our ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who understands elevated dining standards, enjoys developing a strong service team, and can confidently oversee a busy restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise front of house operations during assigned shifts.
- Direct servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff to ensure efficient, professional service.
- Monitor dining room operations, reservation pacing, and guest satisfaction.
- Coach employees on steps of service, suggestive selling, wine service, and hospitality standards.
- Coordinate with culinary leadership to ensure proper service timing and communication.
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and proactively.
- Ensure appropriate staffing coverage, table assignments, and service readiness.
- Oversee opening or closing procedures, including side work, cleanliness, cash handling, and shift reporting.
- Maintain accountability, professionalism, and teamwork throughout the front of house.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of restaurant leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience in upscale casual or full-service dining preferred.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant service standards and dining room operations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team.
- Experience with Toast, OpenTable, or comparable restaurant systems is a plus.
- Evening and weekend availability required.
