We are seeking an experienced Floor Captain to support, guide, and elevate our front-of-house team. This role is ideal for someone who leads by example, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in creating exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach and support FOH staff to uphold La Vigneta's high service standards
- Monitor and maintain service flow, timing, and table quality
- Ensure completion of all steps of service, including pre-bussing, food running, upselling, and guest attentiveness
- Assist with training, development, and ongoing performance reinforcement
- Address guest needs promptly and professionally
- Maintain communication with management, kitchen, and FOH teams throughout service
- Support daily floor operations and contribute to a positive, team-focused environment
Required Skillset:
- Strong leadership and team-coaching abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and situational awareness
- Ability to manage service timing and anticipate needs
- Strong knowledge of proper service standards and hospitality best practices
- Capable of handling fast-paced, high-volume service periods
- Professional, calm, and solution-focused under pressure
- Prior supervisory, lead server, or captain experience preferred
