Maintenance Technician

Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R systems, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and other mechanical components
• Read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to diagnose issues accurately and execute repairs efficiently
• Conduct equipment repairs and replacements to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance
• Assist with construction or renovation projects as needed to improve facility infrastructure
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference

Requirements

• Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance
• Knowledge of schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex systems
• Hands-on experience with HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration equipment
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform equipment repair and maintenance tasks efficiently
• Construction experience is a plus for handling facility upgrades or renovations
• Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
