Responsibilities

• Operate laundry equipment efficiently to wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, and guest clothing items with care and precision.
• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and techniques.
• Handle dry cleaning processes when necessary, ensuring delicate fabrics are treated with proper care.
• Maintain cleanliness of all housekeeping carts, storage areas, and laundry rooms to uphold safety standards and operational efficiency.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring supplies, reporting shortages, and ensuring all cleaning tools are in good working order.
• Follow established health and safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure a hygienic environment for guests and staff.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily cleaning schedules and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in laundry operations or housekeeping within a hotel or hospitality setting is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of laundry procedures, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and stain removal techniques.
• Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors.
