Duties
- Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety
- Develop daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor team performance to maximize efficiency and quality. MOP
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and facilities, providing feedback and coaching to uphold cleanliness protocols
- Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels are maintained
- Enforce health and safety regulations related to janitorial and industrial cleaning practices
- Collaborate with other departments to address guest requests or special cleaning needs promptly and professionally
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within hospitality or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, including carpet cleaning, polishing, stripping, and waxing floors
- Previous hotel experience or familiarity with hospitality standards is highly desirable
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on motivating teams and managing schedules effectively
- Skilled in various cleaning methods such as general cleaning, deep cleaning, and specialized industrial cleaning
- Ability to train staff on proper cleaning procedures while maintaining high-quality standards
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of housekeeping management
- Ability to learn MOP and assist staff .
